This seven-week Lenten Journal Journey uses the already popular trend of writing clubs and makes the common interest spirituality, which is the interest du jour in Lent. Young adults will have the opportunity to reflect on the weekly psalms and build intimate community with others in the group.

Fr. Steven Bell, CSP

Fr. Steven Bell, CSP, is the associate director of Busted Halo®. Ordained in 2008, Fr. Steve served four years as the associate pastor at St. Austin’s in Austin, Texas. There, he led rousing lessons on faith for school-aged kids at summer camp and motivational talks for African-American professionals in Austin. He also led retreats and missions for young adults and other groups in the church. During his years of seminary formation, Fr. Steve has worked with the USCCB on various projects and events including World Youth Day 2002. He was a principal cantor at the 2008 Papal Mass in Washington, D.C. Fr. Steve received a master’s of divinity and a certificate for spiritual direction from the Washington Theological Union. He received his bachelor’s of science degree in philosophy and psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
