Catholics Confront Global Poverty works to defend impoverished people throughout the world, and to urge action in response to hunger, disease, conflict, and injustice. The organization, an initiative of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), protects funding for food aid and works to make governments pass farm bills through activism. Those who want to work toward a solution can sign a Hunger Pledge on the CRS website. Have members of your ministry sign the hunger pledge, and discuss with them what they would do to combat global poverty.
