Saint Michael the Archangel

There was a great war raging in the clouds. Satan, with his army of angels, attacked Heaven in an effort to destroy God’s beautiful paradise. However, Saint Michael the Archangel  had other plans and defeated Satan with his great strength. He then helped God cast the army of hell from the heavens. Over the course of the history of the Church, Saint Michael has been considered the protector of the Church, the prince of the angels and the patron of the Catholic Church. He is also the patron saint of paratroopers, police officers, grocers, and mariners. His feast day is celebrated on September 29.

Reflect for a few minutes on how you defend your faith. Then, pray to Saint Michael for strength and guidance.
