Do people in your parish know who “young adult ministry” serves? Some young adults don’t know that they belong to this demographic group! When you advertise your ministry in e-mails or the church bulletin, include the age group you serve (e.g., Young Adult Ministry — ages 18-39). Increase your visibility for the benefit of young adults and the larger community by hosting a “Young Adult Sunday.” Invite young adults to serve as ushers, lectors, and Eucharistic ministers at liturgy, and prepare a flyer for the bulletin that provides information about the young adult group and the many ways that young adults are involved in your larger parish community.
