Suggested Reflection Questions:

  • This week’s psalm shows us that God is good and forgiving. How often do you forgive others? What makes it so hard to forgive others but so easy to ask for God’s forgiveness?

  • In the second reading from St. Paul to the Romans, we learn yet another lesson about the Holy Spirit — that He intercedes when we are lost and confused. The Spirit knows the intentions that are in our hearts because the Spirit is God. How often do you pray for the Holy Spirit to intercede for you? Think of some current situations in which you can use God’s help and guidance and pray about them.

  • In the Gospel reading, Jesus tells us that the Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed, and sowing the tiny mustard seed creates a large plant. He also says that the Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, and when mixed with wheat flour it yields a loaf of bread. What tiny things can you do in your life in order to create a big impact?
