Step by Step Programs

This retreat uses imagery from Psalm 1 to draw young adults closer to God and encourage them to share God’s love in the world around them.

This is an event that combines hands-on service particularly focused on the call to care for creation with reflection and catechesis on Catholic Social Justice Teaching.

Spend an afternoon experiencing nature in your local area and then reflecting on that experience in the light of faith.

Sun, sand, salt water, music, fellowship, and last, but certainly not least, the Word of God! Young adults gather to enjoy the beautiful summer weather and scriptural faith sharing.

A July cookout event for young adults to reflect upon the topic of freedom in light of their Catholic faith.

An outdoor concert-like experience under the setting sun, where young adults are invited to bring food and drink to share and meet others their age. The program features opportunities for meet-and-greet, live music, and a motivational speaker.

Young adults come together to celebrate the liturgy and then share a simple meal. Subsequently, they are invited to participate in another meal, hosted at the home of a young adult, and discuss issues of hunger, food security, and simplicity. It’s a great program that can be replicated throughout the year.

Offering a day of service for young adults gives them the opportunity to live out Catholic Social Teaching in their community as a way of responding to the Gospel mandate to serve “the least of our brothers and sisters.”

Throughout four gatherings during Lent, participants watch Henri Nouwan’s “Becoming the Beloved” sermon, explore the theme of becoming the beloved, and reflect on their relationship with self, God, and others.

This seven-week Lenten Journal Journey uses the already popular trend of writing clubs and makes the common interest spirituality, which is the interest du jour in Lent. Young adults will have the opportunity to reflect on the weekly psalms and build intimate community with others in the group.
