Dr. Carolyn Y. Woo came from Hong Kong, a city full refugees who had fled from the communist government in China. Fueled from the hardships of her past, Dr. Woo earned a doctorate in the United States and eventually became the highly successful dean of the Mendoza School of Business at Notre Dame.
